Morning John, it has been a pleasure. Each time we do one of these video/compilations I think that sometime somewhere a person/parent will look at your work and be reminded of the great times we all had, maybe even that person's children will be looking at the same pictures and be reminded of a great vacation many years before...
I don't have many pictures of growing up with my brothers and sister. Why? Simply because my parents didn't own a camera, with 4 kids and one wage coming in a camera would be the last thing on their mind.

There are apps that let you record yourself. There are services that digitize your old tapes. This is neither of those things. A Legacy Video is a professionally crafted film — built from interviews, your photos, your footage, and hours & hours of careful editing. The kind of thing you frame and pass down, not upload and forget.
I guide the whole thing. You don't need to prepare a speech or know what to say. I ask the questions, we have a conversation, and the story comes out naturally. Most interviews run about two hours (or two 1-hour sessions with a break in between), but we go at whatever pace feels right.
I'll send you a link that anyone can use to upload directly from their phone, computer, or tablet — no technical skills needed. You can pass it around to siblings, kids, cousins, whoever has photos & videos tucked away. Everything comes to me organized and ready to work with.
The fastest projects wrap in about a month — interview done within the first week, footage collected the week after, then two weeks of editing and draft reviews. More commonly it takes 6-8 weeks, depending on how long it takes to gather footage and coordinate family interviews. I'll give you a realistic timeline once we've talked through what you have.
Every project includes two finished videos — a full-length version with the complete interview woven in, and a shorter highlight cut that's easy to share and pass around. Both are delivered digitally and on USB drives. You can also choose a wooden engraved keepsake box or a folio case with a photo on the front cover — something that feels as meaningful as what's inside.
No. I work with families across the country. The interview happens remotely — not over Zoom, but professional recording software that captures studio-quality video from wherever you are — footage gets uploaded, and drafts are reviewed online. Location has never been a barrier.
Both are something I can help with. If you're working on a memorial tribute with a service coming up, I'll work within your timeline and quote accordingly. If you want to honor someone who has passed but there's no rush — maybe gathering family interviews over time — that works too. Reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense for your situation.
